I'm not the biggest Halo fan but I'm looking forward to playing this. I hope after this they move on to something new.
Advertising is always good but what do you call the media blitz R2 had this week with new screenshots and videos that they showed off? I think for R2 word of mouth is going to be the best advertisement for game.
Would I like to see more advertisement sure but I think Sony knows what they're doing and the game is still a couple months off maybe they have something planned. Just have to wait and see.
Battles seem turn-based which isn't bad, I wonder how this is going to turn out.
Pretty cool ad but at first I didn't think it was a game commercial but for something like a HDTV or something. Still cool nonetheless and a bit freaky but there's nothing wrong with that.
I think your missing out on a good game. Its not perfect but it is still a lot of fun and the story is really good. You should a least consider a rental I understand money is going to be tight will all these games coming out soon.
Don't know what more to say then that R2 is going to rock. Day 1 for sure.

I have to agree that FFVII help define rpgs as we know it today. There is no denying the fact that especially in the west this is the rpg that really grab people's attention and people still want more like a remake like I do.
But I will disagree with him about the PS3 not having any OMG moments. MGS4, Ratchet and Clank in motion and Uncharted were some of those moments for me.
This is only my opinion though.
I'm going to have to pre-order this today. My wallet is going to be crying this holiday.

Yes good to see that all is well for WKS and that it will release this year (for Japan hopefully worldwide though). I've been waiting for this game and by coincidence I'm playing Rogue Galaxy which I'm really enjoying. Go Level 5
This is news I hate to hear but I think everybody saw this coming as games are getting larger as this generation goes on. I hate to see Id's vision cut like this.
I wonder how many developers going forward aren't going to want to strip stuff out of their game because of reasons like this.
This Spencer guy really should keep mouth shut. Being confident is one thing but I'm getting tired of all this PR smack talk this generation by the big 3.
Even if Rare was it doesn't matter, Nintendo launched on their console first and no matter Rare does comparisons to Mii's are always going to be there like Home and Second Life. They should just concentrate on making their Avatars awesome on the 360 and that gamers take to it.
That sucks but Ensemble will live on since in the post it said the leadership team are going to create a new studio and they are making a deal to work on Halo Wars after launch.
It sucks to see Ensemble go since they were a great studio and I hope under their new studio they have the same kind of success.
The story wasn't as good as X but they did a good job of disguising the ATB from previous games and adding the gambit system to set up things according to how you wanted to play the game. If you didn't like the gambit you could still play old school by stoping time when you brought up the menu, plan and then attack. The battle system from X was awesome too don't get me wrong.
